ANNUAL CAMP 2009
I certainly went to camp wondering how we would get on as the new family of Clwyd and Gwynedd, but over all both adults and cadets, it became business as usual, and you all got on with the job in hand, namely having fun in a structured maner.
I had a great time during camp, and seeing so many smiling faces around made it feel worth all the effort put in by the adult staff. We had issues, but no one seemed to let them get to them, and you were all enjoying what you did, or at least thats how it appeared to me.
The standard in the Drill Competition was very high, and commented on by the TA staff who were training new recruits.
The Parent's day was a great success, despite a couple of hiccups on the catering side, but we are a victim of our own success with so many parents, friends etc making the trip. Unfortunately, this will not be repeated in future years, due to the distances we will be travelling to attend Camps; next year it is Warcop, which is about 3 hours from Kinmel.
