BTEC & Vocational Training

All Cadets aged 16 and over now have the opportunity to earn, at no cost, a BTEC First Diploma in Public Services – the equivalent of 4 GCSE’s at A-C level

Cadets are encouraged to BE READY for a successful future with an internationally recognised qualification that is well respected in both the workplace and institutes of higher education.

In addition to the existing Cadet activities, the BTEC Programme also provides learning opportunities in and outside the classroom including:
· CV Development
· Interviewing Skills
· Public Speaking/Presentations
· First Aid and Nutrition
· Adventure Training
· Much, much more!

The Cadet Movement is currently the ONLY national youth organisation offering young people the chance to develop these valuable skills as well as the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised diploma.

Don't forget to tell the BTEC Officer if you are going to Frimley!

You can gain NVQ level 3 units in delivering learning (L10 & L11) and also Assessing Qualification (A2) which has a commercial value of over £1000! Get in touch if your interested.
